Funding Hope

Currently, funds are limited for research specifically for CDKL5. Unfortunately, the number of kids diagnosed is growing.

We can work towards finding a cure by supporting research efforts and the dedicated individuals who give our kids an improved quality of life.

The purpose of the Caley J Brown Foundation is to provide critically needed funding in three primary areas that are the wellspring of hope for families of CDKL5 children just like Caley.

The first goal is to provide financial support to the network of local organizations that provide therapy, growth and development programs, and adaptive equipment and services. The important work these organizations provide help our children lead lives filled with improved growth development opportunities. In other words - hope.

The second goal is to also provide financial support to the International Foundation for CDKL5 Research. CDKL5 children can be found in cities and towns around the world. The IFCR provides funding for scientific research for this global community of families with CDKL5 children, bringing us together to know we are not alone. In other words - hope.

The third goal is to provide support to the scientists conducting genetic research in our local universities and institutions. Their efforts will help us all to better understand the cause of CDKL5 genetic abnormalitites, which is the first step towards a cure for CDKL5. In other words - hope.
